  • Qualified by DOSH as a Safety & Health Officer.
  • Ideal candidate to play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety and well-being within the organization.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement effective safety programs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the workplace to identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
  • Collaborate with management and department heads to address specific safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training sessions on safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and the proper use of safety equipment.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports; and recommend preventive measures.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist in the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, training sessions, and inspections.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and authorities on safety matters.
  • Participate in the development and review of emergency response plans.

Requirements

  • Being a competent Safety and Health Officer; a green book holder.
  • Proven experience as a Safety and Health officer.
  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
